When Gaia the Earth Mother was younger,
Just starting on her brood,
I gave her advice and council,
Now look, she has really done good.
I talked to that jealous God of Moses,
Told Him that other Gods had a right to be,
And now he has grown so much wiser,
If only his followers could see.
You may wonder just who I am,
To speak with such temerity,
Just look at everything all around you,
I'm the universe, yep, that's me.
When I wrote this there was a verse missing between the third and last, just wouldn't seem to come, so it was supplied by the beautiful Medea Moonfire
I asked of Pallas Athene:
Protect the children from each other!
Far too many are suffering,
at the hands of their sisters and brothers.
